In honour of the tragic passing of Caleb Wesley, a much-loved member of the Golden Plains SC community, we are proud to introduce a special award that pays tribute to the values he lived by: empathy, kindness and unwavering team spirit.

Caleb touched the lives of many through his warmth, compassion, and selfless support of those around him, both on and off the pitch. To carry forward his legacy, we will be recognising one player who best embodies Caleb’s spirit throughout the tournament.

We invite players, coaches, volunteers and spectators to nominate individuals who display these qualities. Whether it's a quiet moment of encouragement, a gesture of sportsmanship, or consistent support for their teammates, these are the actions that reflect the heart of what Caleb brought to our football family.

The Caleb Wesley Bright Star Award will be presented on the final day of the tournament to the player who has most exemplified these values.
